Yoga in Menopause – From the Hormone Rollercoaster to Metabolic Balance
Menopause is more than hot flashes and changes in the menstrual cycle. It marks a profound hormonal, metabolic, and psychological transition that often surprises—and challenges—many women. At the same time, this phase of life holds great potential: for a new inner order, renewed strength, and a more mature sense of self beyond the rhythms of the cycle.
In this continuing education program for BDYoga, I combine current insights from hormone and metabolic research with my experience from clinical practice. My work always focuses on coherence, self-efficacy, and the cultivation of the three levels of Agni—body, psyche, and heart. Over the course of this weekend, we will also explore together how this phase of life can open a new sense of meaning and how we may understand our role within this transition.
The practices we explore can easily be integrated into your own yoga practice or into teaching.
